My work is inspired by the ancient art of Byzantine and Orthodox icons reinterpreted in a contemporary way.
I create abstract and conceptual icons to access the deeper reality of the universe and push individuals towards new discoveries.
I see in art the stimulus for reflection, for intellectual and spiritual growth, the opportunity to influence the future of humanity.
The object of my art is the world of ideas - supernatural, eternal, infinite - and its relationship with the terrestrial world.
My research has been dedicated to the relationship of the visible-invisible, the divine-human since the day I lived a mystical experience.
In my work I use ancient techniques of the icons together with contemporary techniques. My works, contemporary icons, as well as ancient icons, are made on wooden boards.
With pigments, photographs, tree bark, sand I represent the immanent world, with gold 23 carat leafs I describe the spiritual and transcendent world.
Since adolescence, art has been a great passion of mine together with philosophy, theology and psychology. I have Russian origins and grew up in St. Petersburg.
In 2006 I graduated in psychology and in 2011 I moved to Italy.
I graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
In 2014 I specialized in Monumental Painting at the Repin University of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg.
In 2016, I started attending the Byzantine iconology and iconography course at the International Association of Art and Spirituality Byzarticon in Rome, where I acquired the ancient techniques of icon painting and gilding.
Il mio lavoro è ispirato all’arte antica delle icone bizantine e ortodosse rilette in chiave contemporanea. Creo icone astratte e concettuali per accedere alla realtà più profonda dell’universo e spingere gli individui verso nuove scoperte.
Vedo nell’arte lo stimolo per la riflessione, per la crescita intellettuale e spirituale, l’opportunità per influenzare il futuro dell’umanità.
L’oggetto della mia arte è il mondo delle idee - soprannaturale, eterno, l’infinito e il suo rapporto con il mondo terrestre.
La mia ricerca si è dedicata al rapporto del visibile-invisibile, del divino-umano dal giorno in cui ho vissuto un’esperienza mistica.
Nel mio lavoro uso tecniche antiche dell’icone insieme a tecniche contemporanee.
I miei lavori, icone contemporanee, così come le icone antiche, sono effettuati su tavole di legno.
Con pigmenti, fotografie, cortecce di albero, sabbia rappresento il mondo immanente, con oro 23 Kt in foglia descrivo il mondo spirituale e trascendente.
Fin dall’adolescenza l’arte è stata una mia grande passione assieme alla filosofia, alla teologia e alla psicologia. Ho origini russe e sono cresciuta a San Pietroburgo. Nel 2006 mi sono laureata in psicologia e nel 2011 mi sono trasferita in Italia.
Mi sono laureata con lode all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze e all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.
Nel 2014 mi sono specializzata in Pittura Monumentale all'Università di Belle Arti Repin di San Pietroburgo.
Nel 2016 ho iniziato a frequentare il corso di iconologia e iconografia bizantina presso l’Associazione Internazionale di Arte e Spiritualità Byzarticon a Roma, dove ho acquisito le tecniche antiche della pittura dell’icone e della doratura.
